Round Tomatoes

Round tomatoes, which are commonly referred to as slicing or beefsteak tomatoes, are great on sandwiches or burgers.

Tomatoes are high in lycopene which some scientific studies suggest may help reduce the risk of certain diseases including cancer and heart disease. They are also high in vitamin C and A.

We ripen our tomatoes on the vine to increase their flavor.

Selecting Tomatoes

Select tomatoes that are firm with no bruises or major blemishes. They should have a full and deep color. The skin should be taut and not shriveled.

Care & Handling

Tomatoes will continue to ripen after you bring them home. Store your tomatoes in a dry, well ventilated area of your kitchen. Never refrigerate your tomatoes, as this will destroy their flavor and texture! Always wash your tomatoes before using them!
