1/2 pound fresh strawberries, caps removed
1 banana, peeled
1 1/2 cups frozen vanilla yogurt
1 cup crushed ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Whenever you have leftover berries, consider freezing them so you can use them in your next smoothie.
Toss in some blackberries, raspberries, and/or blueberries.
Add a small orange, peeled.
Throw in some apple slices. They’re good for you and you wont even know they’re there.
Some people suggest adding sugar or honey to taste. We don’t think it’s necessary with all the natural sweetness of the fruits. But it’s your smoothie, so try it if you like.
