Indian salad

Salads are an excellent way to pump up your daily food with some essential and healthy nutrients; Salads can be prepared from everyday vegetables and are the easiest of all recipes.

Experts have recommended including at least one variety of salad daily. Since most salads have vegetables and other ingredients in their raw form, all the essential nutrients are preserved.

  3 red onions , chopped
  2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  1 lemon, juice of
  3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  1 medium green pepper, chopped
  1 red chili pepper or green chili pepper, chopped
  1 tablespoon grated ginger
  2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  Salt and pepper to taste


Dissolve 2 tablespoons of dark brown sugar into the juice of 1 lemon and a little hot water and mix with the onions. Add the tomatoes, green pepper, chili pepper, grated ginger, and cilantro and mix. Salt and pepper to taste.

Fun Variations

Add some diced cucumbers.
